The most popular actress of over two and half decades Malashri feels insulted with the reply from director cum dance director Imran Sardaria of her recent film ‘Uppu Huli Khaara’.

After participating one full day of shoot Imran Sardaria has sent a message that reads like – Manju sir fully upset, he is very angry and asked me to stop the project because of delay from your side, and performance not up to the mark, will get back to you later madam and I am also helpless, he is asking you to return the money.

This message sent to Malashri was made public at the media meet on Thursday evening at Gold Finch Hotel. Malashri addressed the media and said she was shocked with Imran Sardaria saying my performance not up to the mark. I have worked for 25 years so many big directors under I have worked. He has insulted all the directors. I feel upset with his statement. I have accepted this film because of K Manju old call sheet with me and Infosys Sudha Murthy who said only I can do this role in ‘Uppu Huli Khaara’. It is a comedy cop role with Hubballi accent of Kannada.  Imran is the first person to say like this in my career. He has no business to say like this says Malashri.

In reply to what Malashri has stated Imran Sadaria currently in Mumbai agreed to the message and said he would report to right persons on this issue. After coming to Bengaluru I would talk to Rockline Venkatesh of Artists Association and explain everything what I underwent along with K Manju in this case.

It is true that K Manju 2012 call sheet (said to be Rs.45 lakhs) of Malashri is materialised for Uppu Huli Khaara and K Manju is not the official producer of this film. It is Raam Reddy who is producer.

Using the call sheet of one actor by another producer is very common in the tinsel town.
